Destiny 2's deep-sea season thrives on a library of recreated Titan destinations and a good seasonal storyline that offers excellent interaction and character development at every turn, with Vice Commander Sloan once again in the spotlight. As the story progresses, players are able to glimpse the thoughts in the head of Ahsa, a new ally who is a sample of the original Hive Worm and who wants to help the Guardians beat back The Witness and learn more about its purpose. This is exactly what is revealed in the new overworld animation for the Deep Season of Destiny 2, while revealing the origin of the villain, what the veil is, and more. Players can prepare enough Destiny 2 Silver in the game.

One of the biggest problems with Destiny 2's Lightfall at launch was its failure to deliver on its premise of learning more about the end of humanity at the hands of the Witnesses - and what the Veil really is. This caused strong opposition in the community due to the way the story was delivered, as multiple key characters acted as if they knew exactly what the Veil was, even though Lightfall never explained it, and then the main event became a bland escape thanks to Calus' character and The Witness' character.

Destiny 2's deep-sea season succeeds where Lightfall failed

The new overworld animation is a huge game-changer when it comes to Destiny 2 lore, as the first thing it does is explain the origin of the Witnesses, an entity that seems to consist of all members of an alien race - the first Traveler ever blessed. The alien race prospered for a long time due to the terraforming abilities of the Travelers - what they called "gardeners" - but these people felt they lacked meaning. This led the aliens to discover that the Travelers had a "dark mirror" in the universe, which they called the Veil, and learned that there was not only light, but also darkness.

This explains what the Veil is and why the Witnesses are hunting it in Lightfall, especially since the transitions also reveal that the alien race is trying to bring the Veil to the Travelers to strengthen their bond in order to reshape reality and create the so-called Final Form. According to the overworld animation, this final shape appears to be a being stripped of its chaotic nature, where light never has destructive side effects and all life forms do not have to suffer. However, Voyager escapes, and from there it proceeds to flee the Black Fleet of Destiny 2 - a ship built by the original race of Witnesses.

The alien race then uses the binding power of darkness to fuse each sample of itself into one entity, the Witness, which explains the smoky face that emerges from its head from time to time, for that is the face of all its creators. The ultimate sacrifice of becoming one. All of this is key to understanding what the Witness wants and who it really is, and the overworld animation gives meaning to the veil of Manifest Destiny 2 Lightfall After that, the Deep Season paves the way for the Final Form expansion.

Given that the Witnesses wanted to give meaning to the universe and remove the chaos from it, this also meant that the Guardians were never the final form. Instead, Destiny 2's Final Form expansion is likely related to the Witness, trying to find a way to right the course of all life in the universe according to its own point of view, a point of view it has pursued for centuries. season of the deep's overworld animation is exactly what Lightfall needed in the first place, and while it may be late to the party for the source material, it provides a new idea for the game's lore It provides a new way of thinking about the game's lore.
